Zalman Trimon ZM-M220W
Beyond any doubt the 3D image technology with line interlacing and polaroid glasses proved to be extremely interesting and promising and this can be explained by a good combination of simplicity and multifunctionality.
Besides the monitor is far from perfection in 2D mode. Nevertheless all drawbacks noticed by me are the consequence of trivial inaccuracy and crudity of monitor settings – just the same deficiencies can be found with regular monitors without any 3D modes. So these are issues pertaining to this specific model rather than 3D technology in general: absolutely nothing prevents the manufacturer to turn out 3D monitor with a quality of average 2D monitor. So we will probably see such monitors in the future. Here is page with full zalman display drivers
To sum it up in just few words only one thing should be said – I do hope that 3D monitors like Zalman Trimon ZM-M220W will become a common phenomenon in our stores and consequently our homes.
